The UNCW Randall Library hosts the website entitled The Marines of Montford Point and chronicles the history of the first African-American Marines.  The site also contains information on a forth-coming documentary narrated by Lou Gossett Jr. entitled, The Marines of Montford Point, Fighting for Freedom and a book recently published by the University of North Carolina Press entitled, The Marines of Montford Point, America’s First Black Marines.
